This year too Almaviva Group is taking part in M’illumino di Meno, the initiative organized by Caterpillar Rai Radio2 which aims to promote energy conservation and sustainable lifestyles.
This edition will be XL. Instead of lasting just one day, it will run from February 16th to 21st and will focus on the topic of fast fashion and its environmental impact.
Almaviva is participating in collaboration with the Community of Sant’Egidio, promoting a used clothing drive to give garments a second life while meeting the needs of others, embracing the philosophy of reusing and recycling.

Here are some suggestions to help you stay “fashionable” and in tune with the environment year round:

• Turn off the lights in your home, office, or apartment building when not needed.
• Choose sustainable forms of mobility for your travel, such as public transportation or shared mobility, and walk to your destinations whenever possible!
• Give a second life to clothes and items you no longer use by donating them to charities or selling them through apps that promote recycling and the circular economy.
• Wear a warm sweater and turn down the heat!
• Share these good habits with friends, family, and colleagues, and encourage everyone to do their part for a more sustainable future.
