An important opportunity to raise awareness about autism and promote greater societal inclusion of individuals on the spectrum, Autism Awareness Day, observed today, represents an opportunity to break down prejudices and foster a deeper understanding of a condition that affects millions of people worldwide.

In 2023, Almaviva embarked on a journey with I Bambini delle Fate, a social enterprise that provides financial support for social inclusion projects and initiatives managed by nonprofit associations and organizations, benefiting young people with autism and other disabilities.

Founded by Franco Antonello, an entrepreneur from Castelfranco Veneto, I Bambini delle Fate has grown exponentially, now supporting social inclusion projects in nearly every Italian region and actively encouraging entrepreneurs and individuals to adopt and promote long-term inclusion initiatives.

The goal that the organization shares with Almaviva is to promote an alternative and positive view of autism and all forms of diversity through a social communication campaign that showcases the potential of these young men and women and the incredible resilience of their families, without denying or minimizing the weight of their daily struggles.

As part of this collaboration, Almaviva has chosen to support the Padova Città Sociale project, managed by the ViviAutismo ODV Association and the Diversity Life Foundation, offering services that provide comprehensive care from childhood to adulthood and supporting families with specialized assistance for adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders.
