ACSOC: Almaviva, as the coordinator, hosted the kick-off meeting of the European research project “ACSOC - Advanced Cooperative Security Operation Centres” (Call Digital Europe - European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre – 2023-2024 Work Programme) at its Roman headquarters.

The project aims to develop new cybersecurity services to enhance threat intelligence and behavioral analysis capabilities. As the lead technology partner, Almaviva is participating in the research project by innovatively expanding its Cyber Threat Intelligence platform, with the goal of improving the capabilities of its proprietary assets in order to increase market penetration and reduce reliance on non-European technologies.

Through collaboration with national and international research centers and with the public and private SOC/CSIRTs participating in the project, it will be possible to identify new scenarios and expand use cases, improving the management methods of the services provided by Almaviva’s Cyber Threat Defense Center (CISRT, SOC) and aligning them to the changing regulatory and technological landscape.

Led by Almaviva, the partnership is made up of: DNSC Romanian National Cybersecurity Agency, the Greek company JOIST SME, and the Polytechnic University of Bari.
The kick-off meeting was attended by European Commission representative and Project Officer Florina Munteanu, representatives of the DNSC and JOIST, and, representing Almaviva, Ausra Vargonaite (Primary Coordinator and Project Manager), Oronzo Berlen (Technical Coordinator), Roger Cataldi (CISO and Head of the Cyber Security Division), Elena Gagliardoni (Head of the IT Division’s AI Strategy), and Raffone Alessandra (Head of Innovation Projects).
