As part of the celebrations marking the 160th anniversary of the Italian Coast Guard, the Harbor Authorities are at the Sanremo Festival with an exhibition space in the Porto Vecchio area. Almaviva, a company with over 30 years of experience driving the digital transformation of the defense and security sector, is by their side.
Ending tomorrow, the renowned music festival provides an opportunity to learn more about the Coast Guard’s commitment to maritime safety, made possible thanks to the expertise of its personnel and the capabilities of its fleet. The booth’s many visitors participated in a contest, experienced a virtual reality rescue mission, and discovered the various professional roles within the organization. The event also featured a spectacular live exercise, showcasing the offshore patrol boat CP 334, a high-speed vessel, a jet ski, and an AW139 helicopter from the Coast Guard’s Sarzana air base. This demonstration offered a unique opportunity to witness emergency maritime rescue operations up close. Students from various local schools were also in attendance.
